For those of you struggling with losing a few pounds, this is something I know works and i'm just offering a tip. Cut out all liquids that you currently drink and replace them with water. No milk, no sodas, no beer, no gatorade, orange juice. Nothing but water. You'll be amazed at how your waistline will shrink. Be sure and drink at least 1.5 gallons of water per day. The thing most people don't realize is that even gatorade, powerade, and fruit juices are just FULL of sugar. Sugar is a simple carb and if simple carbs aren't burned off immediatelly, they get stored as fat. Simple.
I though the standing rule for this diet was an oz. of water for every lb you weigh? I couldn't drink even 100oz's anyway. Too much peeing.
yeah, but if you dont exercise, most of the food that you eat will get turned into fat as well........so take every meal, and replace it with air. then you should be ok for losing weight.
Ok, this is a serious way to lose weight WITHOUT working out. For those of you who need to lose weight, consider this: Reverse the order of your meals. Eat dinner for breakfast. Eat lunch normally. Eat breakfast for dinner. You will be surprised at how much weight you lose. Typically, dinner has the most calories and breakfast the least. But it really doesn't make sense because after dinner, you barely do any type of work. If you eat dinner for breakfast. You consume the most calories during the morning. Then you have the entire day to burn it off. And typically breakfast is the smallest meal and it makes sense to eat the smallest meal for dinner since you no longer need the calories. Your meal plan can go like this: Breakfast - Steak, corn, Mash potatoes, peas Lunch - Sandwich, chips Dinner - Cereal and fruit The best part of this diet is that you can eat the same amount of food. Of course if you want to cut calories and workout, that's even better.
Drinking too much water (2+ gallons a day) could deprive your body of needed salts, which shouldn't be a problem with the average American diet.... What bugs me the most about this plan is that drinking beer at night is a big negative. Beer (lite or otherwise) is probably the worst thing in a low carb diet. The alcohol gets converted to simple sugars and if you've happen to have passed out, those sugars magically migrate to your gut and settle down into fat.
I'm gonna try that Mr. Todd. It sounds like a solid plan for me. I've been trying to lose that last 5 lbs. and nothing seems to work. ( Yes, I run 3.5 miles a day, and cycle 4 miles a day, and lift weights for another hour- every day)
