Ok, So I got the league pass last year and had issues as soon as the FREE preview was over. This year, I ordered early and was ready to have my problems fixed by the time the regular season starts. So....first week, when the free preseason games are on, my screen says.... Call to subscribe...not authorized. I call in...they say..."Problem with the NBA league pass people, don't worry we have you down as a subscriber" So, tonight I notice that on channell 911 there is supposed to be a game, but my screen says the same Not authorized crap. I call again...they say don't worry....I press them and they say...ok fine, we will send a signal...reboot your system...I unplug it and WALLLAH !!! GAME ON !!! My point to this ramble....Don't wait for all the rest of the boobs to have issues get it fixed BEFORE the season. DaDakota
After dealing with Time Warner and UPS employees this week, the UPS employees go above and beyond what is required, are knowledgeable, and friendly. btw, you can reboot your box via phone without talking to a rep.
Hmm... I'm with AT&T digital cable and I'm experiencing the same "problem" that DaDakota did. However, I was told they wouldn't start televising games until the 29th or whatever anyway. I knew there were pre-season games, but I really don't care about them since no Rockets are involved. I may just give these folks a call on Monday to be sure since I get the "call to subscribe" or whatever message when there should be a game as well.
One other note......it seems that it had nothing to do with rebooting the machine & more to do with them sending a signal. I rebooted the main machine and it showed up...but the 2nd cable box (which also was not working) somehow began working right after they sent the signal WITHOUT rebooting. So....I think it had everything to do with them forcing a signal to my machine. If you are having this issue you should get it fixed now...don't wait for all the rest of the people to have the same problem at the same time. DD
Why can't thye have competition in Austin? Time Warner has a virtual monopoly on the market. I'm not gonna order this year, out of principle.

so do you have to call to have it on for free...... or is it just on for free for a while? I have never delt with LP and I am in San Antonio--- I need my ROX no radio or TV here tonight? should it be on LP for free tonight? should I call.... I havent seen a promotion for free LP where should I say I saw this?
It's automatically turned on for every customer. Turn to the channel. If it says unauthorized then call in. Say you saw it on the In Demand website.
