Man,l i looked at these last three games, and while its not his fault for the result, Yao is a big reason. Tonite he was riding high and playing good, but we couldn't build momentum in the first quarter off of his play on our lead because, he reach his 6 minutes and it was time to take him out. He can't be the Franchise player, that we know of him and Les pays him to be, in his current role. If Rick plays Yao the minuets he wants him to, we would be 3-0 heading into Wednesdays game. Its' copy-and paste. theres no continuity to our gameplan. Get Yao his minutes and then break away from the gameplan and run more??? And then Yao seems to be able to be effective with only a certain lineup.

I just dont like this limit on the bug guy. We need him out here. I dont want anymore part-time superstars. I didnt like it with TMac and I dont like it with Yao.

I'm not blaming Yao and i know this isn't what he wants and it isnt his fault, but its counterproductive to the rockets success.

What impact do you expect if you don't utilize him?

It is really stupid that the coach still playing Yao in clutch time. That was a total breakdown, every time.

I say trade him while his value is high. I think we can still get some great players for Yao.

Whos gonna take Yao? We still need a legitimate center if we trade for him and the only one I can think of is Marcin Gortat? No one wants to take on a 16 Mil salarie and give up their starting quality center for a 24 min no back to back center coming off a major surgery. And if we trade him to Orlando They'd have Yao to back up Howard. How fun

Well it doesn't help when AB waves him off for trying to get the ball.

No its not stupid. He's the franchise player, Its warranted. its just not effective in this situation

Another thing. When the team is building momentum with out Yao, and he comes in, the momentum is disrupted. This has mre to do with pg i play. A great pg would be about to help the team transition form play with Yao in the lineup to play without Yao in the lineup

I look forward to the day when this excuse of a basketball player is out of the league because frankly, he's never leaving the Rockets.

Not a knee jerk post, I've disliked Yao since I realized he can't run, jump, or dunk.
