Defense was really sub par during the road trip. Going forward into season the process to playing better Defense should be vigilantly watched.

Lowry's defense has been HORRIBLE this year, he has been just as bad as everyone else.

Steve Blake was blowing him up...STEVE BLAKE !!

I think Lowry is worried more about offense these days than defense....

Lowry's D was bad the last day against Paul, playing visibly tired (physically and mentally). Apart from that he's been tremendous, has been elite at his position.

Lowry's defense has been just as bad as everyone elses.

I think the good defense reputation is carrying him again, people are going on perception and not reality.

Everybody's defense has been subpar. Sadly Bud and Lee are playing the best defense. Everybody needs to improve on their individual defense so that the team defense can be much better. There's just not enough time to do so right now. And the zone defense is not working at all.

Playing Sammy more than 12 minutes might help

True perimeter defense is nearly impossible these days with the no handchecking rule.

Hey coach, how about playing your best rim protector more minutes?

How about we stop playing a PF against good to very good Centers in this league for extended periods of time?

How about playing mixed lineups, instead of all offense team with Scola, BUD and Martin playing together and all defense teams with no offensive scheme just 1v1 ball with Lee Twill Dalembert. How about we mix guys and stop sucking on D in the first minutes just to stop conceding points and stop scoring when our 2nd unit is on and we already down by 15.

And how about telling our guys to move their feet instead of using the arms to control offensive players?

Don´t forget to tell Bud to dunk on Durantula and for T will to talk trash to Westbrick

Oh man, KD tonight and tomorrow - I hope Bud can keep up, but that is a tall order.

I don't think even Lee's defense has been that good, he has had numerous mistakes. But Lowry? He didn't defended well against the Clippers (we agree that nobody defended that day), but he has affected the other games since the defensive side. Not only beating his pars but also having a collective impact. Helping the big guys, averaging around 4-5 deflections per game (plus 2 steals), helping tremendously at rebounding (this is defense too), being always the first guy at the defensive balance... I mean, definitely he has had an impact. And to say that his defense "has been horrible" obviously only can come from people who have an agenda with him.

    I fear for his life.

One thing is for sure, he can´t do worst then what everyone expects him to do

You can´t stop him for scoring, just make him work on the other end.

The Rockets simply arent as good as last year. The biggest downgrade has been the coaching. The majority of clutchfans praised getting rid of Adelman, but this year's only proof that Adelman's coaching made us who we were. Kevin Mchale just isnt the coach Adelman was. Our defense isnt the only thing we suck at right now

Does everyone still blame RA for the terrible defense? Not only is it still pathetic, the offense isn't far behind

Agreed partly. This year it's a new approach with a minimal head coach and veteran assistants.......
The assistants are more involved....it's just taking more time than we thought it would
