Here's a copy of an email I sent to 610 this morning: I think it's time the Rockets fans show a little class tonight and show some respect for Scottie Pippen. The guy is one of the 50 Greatest players of all time and a future Hall of Famer. Pippen gave 110% every night when he played for the Rockets yet the fans thank him by booing him during player introductions and everytime he touches the ball. Rocket fans, ask yourself: Aren't we better than that? Who am I kidding? Pippen is a punk and a loser. We should boo him until we are choking on our own blood from our bleeding throats. Screw Quitten. I cuss him every time I see him on TV. He is a sorry SOB that used Houston in the end to try to get to his beloved Phil in LA but, it didn't work and he ended up in Portland. Top 50 right. Not anymore, he isn't even in the top 3 on his team. ------------------

Pippen sucks! He is one of the biggest jerks in the NBA. He also makes my list of most overated players of all time. With out MJ he does not even get considered for NBA's top 50! ------------------
Just like James Worthy riding Magic & Kareem's coat tails into the top 50. Worthy and Pippen make it in, but somehow the Human Highlight Reel, Dominique Wilkins doesn't make the cut? That list is non-sense. And Pippen sucks. He think's he's great, but the only court he could dominate is the one in his own mind. Get real, Pippen. That year you blamed Barkley & the rest of the team for not taking enough time on the shot, remember it's your turnover that eliminated us from the playoffs. I have no problem with Worthy making the list of top 50 of all time. I think he deserved it. He performed consistantly and didn't he win NBA finals MVP when the Lakers beat the Pistons in the finals? The difference between Worthy and Pippen is that when it mattered most, Big Game James was at his best, and was even an NBA Finls MVP. When it mattered most, Pippen was on the bench with a headache. ------------------ The Rockets will be the NBA champions. Believe.

Boo Pippen or not - he is, in my opinion, severely overrated. He was an essential cog in the bulls' championship machine...but that's it...a cog...he is a decent player...but hardly one of the greats... You know, in the grand scheme of things, I am glad Pippen is such a punk. I mean if he did not request that trade, we would have been saddled with his ridiculous salary.
