What a great weekend of basketball. The Rockets rally for a game 1 win and BOTH the Spurs and Mavs lose at home with neither team looking very impressive going down. I realize its just 1 game in a long series, but the table is starting to set before our eyes. The elite teams in WC are starting to look a little vulnerable (save for the Suns). It is time to seize the opportunity.

    Save for the Suns?

Did you watch that game? They looked very vulnerable, and were fortunate to win.

True, but they at least pulled it out. Still can't believe both the Spurs AND Mavs lost. I am in shock.

Barbosa is way too quick. I can't see any lakers can guard him.

You guys read too much into one game. The West is just stacked this year and shows no signs of letting up next year. Imagine a healthy Hornets squad next year. Or a full year of playing for the Warriors since the Pacer trade. Or a full season for Melo and Iverson together. Or a healthy Clippers team. The West from 1-10 doesn't have as much of a talent gap as we would all think so far at least.
