First, congratulations to RunninRaven and his Diamondbacks for breaking Houston's dynasty which had won 3 consecutive championships.

Congratulations to kidrock for having a World Series runner-up in his first year in the league.

We'll have free agency Sunday at 5:30 pm central time. Good luck to everyone. A couple guys, anticope, hayesstreet... have some free agents they might want to resign.

    Good luck to everyone!

    haven,

I sent you an offer via email for Vazquez a couple of days ago. Did you enter that, and if so, will he still talk to me? If it wasn't entered, I'll try and catch you later tonight...

    Aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrghh!!!!

I can't begin to express how much this sucks. This is way to short of a time for the off-season. No time to prepare for the Free Agency etc, etc, jadda, jadda, jadda.

Ok - I will admit I'm already prepared for the free agency. But I can't freaking be there!!!! Of course I can hope for that also this Sunday that the my work will be delayed to another day - but my luck will not have that. Ryan Anderson requests for the free agency to be held Monday. He's still pissed about not getting to play his playoff game at home!! :( :D

It was mentioned by others than me in the chat that they would like more time for to prepare for the free-agency, and I will not understand if it can't be moved ;) AH CRAP - I had such big plans this season for the FA.

Eww, didn't see the time before. I will not be able to make it then either. I'll try and get a list to you if I can get my e-mail working again on this network.

Is there any way we can do FA after the Packers game is over? I have a lot of money, but I don't want it to go to waste... maybe 6:30?

Well, I've had a couple of people tell me the time doesn't work for them because of the Packers game. I've had other people tell me that they won't be there *later* than 6 or so. And then Sunday doesn't work at all for Heath.

So, we're going to delay until Monday. It's MLK Day(in the US, at least!), so there shouldn't be anything going on for more people... and not football to distract you, either.

Besides, that'll give everyone longer to look at free agents. We'll be doing the draft tomorrow as well, but only 2-3 rounds.

Let me know this time what times are good for you, here.

DAMN. Well, best times for me would be either noon or 7:30 central (gotta work, MLK day or no :( )

Can we have it in the evening tomorrow (6 or later)? I am in Houston now, taking care of stuff at my mom's house. I'll drive back tomorrow afternoon, but I probably won't get back to Corpus until around 6.

Umm...I am one of those unfortunate stiffs that have to work on Monday, as well.

The good news is that I don't have my class, but I won't be available until after 7 tomorrow night.

haven: I have sent my offers to you via email. I have never really understood the process of going to the chat. The only reason, I thought, was to see who signed where.

Are you meaning to tell me that we are going to do our bids in chat like an auction. I may be crazy, but it seemed like in the last season, we didn't do it that way. Everyone emailed their bids.

    Please help...I'm confused about this.

Everyone emails bids for players on whom they wish to bid under $3 million per season. For players that are over $3 million, we do the auction thing in chat. The top 3 bids from the chat are given to the player, who makes a decision on where he wants to go (usually to the top bidder, but not always).

    Okay...thanks Zac.

Well, 7:00 tomorrow night is when I would like it to be.

However, if it is at another time, haven has my bids on who I want. haven - let me know if I need to re-send my bids to you again.

I can most likely make it anytime tomorrow too. It appears late tomorrow around like 7 or 8 pm would be best. Then even the guys who unfortunately have to work, Manny and Zac, can make it as well.
