Great job of getting 53 wins in the Western Conference a 33-8 home record (big ups to the Rowdies). I think this series depends on the coaching staff to address the following and I'm talking about Sikma, Dun, Elston, and RickyA. 1. Solving the fronting issue 2. When to sit Artest once he deviates or takes bad shots 3. Managing Lowry and Brooks minutes 4. Ensuring Gato (Von) plays D on Rudy F and don't lose sight of him 5. Slowing down Roy (push him right, more dangerous going left) 6. Resting Yao due to the banging from Przy and Oden - Deke anyone
More like 1)Time for Yao to finally step up in the playoffs. 2)Time for Artest to prove he's worth more money. 3) Time for role players to step up. Coaching is probably the least importance.
Yeah, hopefully the coaches are more proactive in managing the game and help them out because young players( AB, Lowry, Wafer, Landry) are mistake prone pressured. Rick need to get off the bench and bark orders when they don't run the play or thing don't go well. Let the players acknowledge your presence and guide them instead of sitting there and shaking his head with disappointment. Fire them up Rick!!! It's PLAYOFF
You forgot a few. 7. Making sure fans get their beer cold 8. Making sure the peanuts arent too salty 9. Making sure the half-time show in Portland isn't too boring. 10. Solving the traffic after the game.
right on.. valid points by the op.. equally important for the players to step up as well.. can't wait!! another 8 hours
Adelman had two seasons with basically the same lineup to fix this problem, what makes you think he's going to all of a sudden get it.
By same lineup do you mean One lineup where T-mac was playing and Yao was down? One lineup where Yao was playing and T-mac was down? One year where Rafer Alston started and Bobby Jackson was the backup? Or the next year where Rafer Alston and Brooks was the PG combo and then midway it switched to Brooks and Lowry? Clearly Adelman has has basically the same lineup for two seasons.
