It shouldn't take long for RA to get tired of watching his team get abused on the boards before he makes a move to Dorsey.

Tonight might just be that night with Chuck recovering from that shoulder injury last night. I know that Dorsey still has a lot to learn, but that is the same thing we thought about Landry this time last year.

    Just a thought

Dorsey's not playing for a reason, he can block shots and rebound but can he play better one on one defense than Landry or Scola?

I have to admit that i'm getting an itch to see dorsey on the court for 10-15 min. Not going to say it'll happen, or even that it should, but after nights like last night, a dreamer can only hope. Adelman has shown a willingness to play raw rookies when necessary, so if he stubbornly keeps Joey on the bench, I believe there's a good reason. I just wanna see some more bangin' down low.

Spot minutes for him may not be a bad idea despite his foul trouble and unfamiliarity with the system especially with Chuck's injury. We have no other choice.

I too want to see him. Even if it's just for 10 mins.

I have to disagree. Scolandry is pretty good in offense but his defense really sucks. Maybe landry can block some shots sometimes but I haven't thought of any game he gave a block since that in which he lost his tooth. Scola's paces remind me of dream, but his softness shows the fact that he is more of dirk than dream. I mean, scolandry is much better in offense than in defense but his offense play is still not as good as dirk, not to mention dream. That's why chuck hayes is still on team, we need hayes to play defense when we face KG or Dirk. Dorsey may be a crap in offense but can he do less than hayes? Dorsey is a little bit larger than hayes in size, and in weight. It won't be a hard work for dorsey to defend a cattle like perkins. Had we played dorsey sometime in the game versus celtics, perkins wouldn't be able to devastate yao and do whatever he wants in our paint. Dorsey is gonna tell perkins what the difference is between a cattle and a beast.

Scola and Landry will not get better on D if you take them out every time they struggle.

Dorsey should see some time tonight... 2nd night of back to back and Yao played 40+ minutes...

Hopefully he doesn't foul out in 10 minutes...

He's not ready but we are so desperate for an infusion of athleticism and rebounding that we may have no choice but to give him a shot, especially with Chuck possibly out.

I'd be interested to see this lineup for a few minutes:

    Brooks
    McGrady
    Artest
    Landry
    Dorsey

Hopefully we can get a healthy lead tonight and we get a chance to see what Dorsey can do.

Hopefully, we don't give up 15-20 offensive rebounds. Baby steps.

Dorsey is probably in a state where he fouls too much to stay on the floor. Remember how scola was before he learned the pace of the NBA game?

Yao is to blame for lack of boards. He can't fight for position, he can't grab the ball falling into his hands. He can't put balls back into hoop.

As bad as Yao is playing, I don't see how Dorsey could be worse. At least he is aggressive, he can rebound and dunk.

I'm willing to bet the reason Dorsey isn't going to get PT anytime soon is because he hasn't picked up the defense system nor where to be on the offense. In layman's terms, he's mentally slow. bball iq: think stromile swift.
