Hopefully when/and if we make the playoffs we can have some new clappers ready for sale or promotion.

We were infiltrated with Mavericks fans who brought their own navy and silver clappers.

And when I went to get some bangers, all the stands were sold out!

Help us continue to be the best 6th man!
    Our team needs us!

The keyword is "hopefully". It should be changed to "less likely" with the way it's going.

Ask R0ckets03 for his clappers. He doesn't need them anymore now that he is infiltrating the Rockets bench to boo the team.

Banging too much will definitely get you the clap, if you're not careful, anyway.

Why cheer at a game? People around here aren't interested in that silly stuff. Be a real fan and heckle your own players/coach when they play bad. Nobody does that cheer your team on thing at Compaq.

Do they have those clappers that make the sound "Fire Rudy" when you work them? That'd be sweet.

:D Your are the biggest ass in the world. I don't need clappers to boo or cheer. My voice is good enough.

Freak, do you really expect me to be happy and cheer in the second half of yesterdays game?

We're trying to make sure that FMI keeps stocked with bangers. They may have underestimated how much they need; we'll check on it.

We are trying out a special noisemaker for the upper deck only against Sacramento on Sunday. Any description I make will probably sound ridiculous -- but it's a small drum on a stick, with two balls attached to the drum with a string. Spin it between your hands, and it's LOUD. Louder than the clapper. And your arm won't get as tired. ;)

Playoffs are a different story entirely -- last Comets season, we had the whole arena filled with bangers for the playoffs.

    Tim,

Put me down as someone who doesn't like artificial noisemakers. The first 3 minutes of the Lakers game was the loudest I have ever heard the stadium, and the second loudest are a slew of playoff games.

We never had artificial noisemakers before. I'm just one fan, but it makes me sick to hear you say the playoffs are going to have thousands of clappers when it is proven time and time again that they are unnecessary to get people to cheer in the playoffs.

Fans cheering might not reach decibel levels of the Diamondbacks, but cheering electrifies the stadium, and it is more versatile.

Tim, I have upper deck tickets to Sundays game. How will the noisemakers be distrubuted?

    I like cheering and noisemakers.
Apparently not many of you have had the honor of waving a noise maker above an opposing team fan's head who happens to be sitting directly in front of you.
