robinson probably wont be traded but thomas might be how about kenny for tim straight up it helps both teams and is fair he is a shooter and has one on one skills his overall game is pretty good and I think would be a better fit than odom or lewis and might come cheaper because he has a big contract(67mil)
Their contracts do not work out at all. Tim Thomas is overpaid. Trying to trade Kenny Thomas and Glen Rice for Tim Thomas will not work either. Year 1: 10,750,000 Year 2: 11,825,000 Year 3: 12,900,000 Year 4: 13,975,000 Total: 49,450,000
How can someone come cheaper because of a big contract? Milwaukee's problem hasn't been Tim Thomas, it's been Robinson. He's much more likely to go than TT is. Plus, how does dumping KT for TT help Milwaukee? They'd still be over the cap, they'd be getting less talent, and they'd be losing one of their better young players. It's not really a fair deal.
Kenny would give milwaukee a better offensive option at the 4 rather than anthony mason, and tim thomas would help our team in so many ways. I think he has more play-off experience than 95% of our team. i say we should offer that trade. and their thomas is better than our thomas.
For the second time, it does not work out! Their salaries do not match at all! There needs to be another high salaried player involved!
Kenny Thomas doesn't help the Bucks at all! The last thing they need is more offense at the PF spot! All they need is a tough defender and rebounder up front; obviously Mason didn't work out, but why trade an up-and-coming talent in T. Thomas for someone they don't need in KT? Not to mention that the deal doesn't work at all, anyway.
The only way that the bucks take that trade is if you add Rice and the number 5 pick with Thomas. Rice makes 9mil,plus Thomas and that pick. Thats pretty much the scenerio with the Rockets. K Thomas is a good player, but no one will pull the trigger and give up one of their studs unless that 5 is included.Tim Thomas at the 3 would fill a need for us .
Robinson is much more likely to go than Thomas. Everyone around the league seems to agree that Thomas has unlimited potential and he would finally get the minutes to produce if Robinson was traded for a decient big man.
LAfadeaway, I know it's off topic, but could you shorten your signature? It's a bit too long. I don't know if it's even allowed, if I remember correctly. Sorry to bother ya. Thx.
No he isn't. I've mentioned it to you at least 10 other times. No offense, but it is really annoying to read your one lined posts then have to scroll through your signature just to get to the next post.

I have shortened my signature and I must've skimmed right over that post asking people like me to shorten our sigs.
I would love Tim Thomas, but given that his salary is approx. $10 million and he produced 11/4 this season, I think we can find much cheaper alternatives for this level of production. Tim Thomas is a Partial BYC player which expires 8/1/2002. So, Rice and KT could be traded for TT after 8/1/2002. However, I can't imagine why the Bucks would do this trade. Given that we would unload Rice, I would do it in a heartbeat.
