Hey Tim- can you do anything about the upper level crowd to get them more active in the game activities. For example, the tshirt giveaways are the best activities the rockets do in between timeouts. But for the nuggets game, the top levels were getting no love and they werent throwing them up there. Everyone was pretty much sitting there bored while the people at the bottom were having all the fun. I know they pay more and all but thats ridiculous those sitting in the upper are just as important as those sitting on the lower levels.

so true, besides the upper level people are the real fans rooting for the team

most of the lower level people are just people their for business because of their company benefits etc

the crowd didnt seem like they were in the game last night on TV
we need TC to rock like the arco arena in sacramento
theres nothing like true fans cheering on their team hard and LOUD

toyota center definitely did not look sold out on friday. there were so many empty seats. people should be allowed to move down, so not only the true fans get to enjoy it but it looks nicer on tv when there are actually people in the seats. sounds basic, but the rockets org might be too greedy to let it happen.

I think they should have an individual banner for each and every division and conference championship.

The only reason they were being cheap was because Compaq's rafters couldn't accomodate the many hangings.

Now, they have an expansive rafter on either baseline to do it, yet they kept the "combined" banner.

What will they do next... combine the two championship banners into just one?

The thing I hated most about sitting up there was that it was nearly impossible to get out of your seat to go to the bathroom, get drinks, etc. They left literally NO room to get out of there, I feel really sorry for the people sitting in the middle. Our season tickets are at the end of the row, but for this game, and I think one other, we were at the middle. They should hvae left out a couple of rows to put a little bit of extra space. When I was sitting in my chair and my feet were flat on the floor, my shoes were hitting the back of the chair in front of me. My shoes are only size 12's too! I just wish we could've afforded the $37 seats :(

I live out of H-town. And I was told that the new arena is much more spacious than Compaq Center. I don't know it's so damn terrible! :(

Its not too bad as far as the space on the upper deck. The distance between each row is about the same as the Compaq Center, but I do agree that their are ALOT more seats on each row. I think at the CC there was 13? seats on each row while at the TC vaires, but easily more than 20. I knew this was going to be an issue and got seats closer to the aisle (3-4) cause I hate walking through a crowd.

The footroom is AWFUL up there. I have pretty big feet, so I'm no stranger to small foot space, but this is really terrible. The only consolation is that I was getting up every 45 seconds for someone getting in/out of our row . . .

Oh, and I sat in the $19 seats yesterday, then I went to go check out my season ticket seat (I got every game in that seat but the first one -- had to buy whatever was left), and DAMN was it small. Much smaller than my $19 seat, which is odd because I thought all the seats up there were the same size -- it doesn't appear to be the case though . . . Terribly uncomfortable. As a result I'm talking to my ticket rep to see if there's anything I can do to buy more expensive seats, because I'd rather watch it on TV at home than sit in that anemic seat . . .
