This could work for parts of the game, Reed and Holiday can do the rest

Reed in theory has the perfect skillset to be the PG for this team. The problem is that he just may not be good enough to actualize his skillset on an NBA court. Or at least may not be good enough for this upcoming season. Either way, the Rockets should be able to figure it out by the trade deadline and decide if they need to replace him.

it actually makes sense and tim made a good point. jrue and white were never pure point guards.

You can also do a durant and sengun pick and roll. FVV was great but he was not that great compared when he was a raptor. There were inconsistencies here and there. He was also a step slow in defense.

If we are not doing well by the trade deadline then probably we would have to trade bari and possibly reed for somebody.

When did Tim Legler start looking like a tiny Jewish grandma.

He didn’t say anything that hasn’t already been stated by the smartest on this forum. It was obvious the plan all along. FVV would have been a security blanket, but the intent was to move him off the ball gradually if necessary and to a bench role next year. FVV was one of the worst PG’s in the league last year. He was signed to a reasonable extension as insurance in case they are wrong about Amen and/or Reed.
