I actually agree with Tim on this one because the Heat have talented players but no rebounders lol

He is a great big when he is healthy. It pains me to think about his unfortunate career so far. Rockets fans should feel for Mr. Oden, because we went through the exact same thing with Yao. There is nothing worse. Before he got hurt, in 21 games he was putting up a 23.1 PER. Crazy...

Who will play more minutes this year. Camby or Oden?

Oden. If Oden doesn't start, he's going to play a lot of backup post minutes.

I'd like to see Oden go to Brooklyn just for the hell of it.

That's if he's even able to play.

Miami is a good place for him. If he gets injured, their championship hopes aren't derailed because they didn't have to rely on him anyway. If he stays healthy, it's all gravy. And, they don't have to ride him too hard in the regular season -- he could rehab all season if he wanted, as long as it made him healthy for the playoffs. That makes a lot more sense than a place like New Orleans that would want minutes out of him to make sure they make the playoffs.

I just don't see him being a good fit for that team. I don't know if he still has his defensive instincts that made him the 1st pick overall anymore. If he can't help on defense then he won't be that useful to the team. Obviously they can use his size to get rebounds and guard opposing centers but he's a huge liability on the offensive side cause he'll just clog up the lane for D-Wade and Lebron. I think his best fit would be Spurs or Hornets. Spurs mostly because Pop will know how to manage his minutes and get the most out of him like he does with a lot of players.

An Ode to Oden and some other dude...

    An old man turned nineteen
He was a lottery pick and got injured the next day
Its a black mamba on your emergency cell phone
Its a three-legged man made of brittle bone
..........And isnt it ironic...dont you think

Mr. play-everyone-around was afraid to fly
He had to pack his suitcase and kiss H-town goodbye
He avoided airplanes and games all year long
And as the bus crashes off the bridge he tweets
    "Well...#BeWell"
..........And isnt it ironic...dont you think

Its like rain on your wedding day
Its a free ride when youve already paid
Its the good advice that you just didnt take
    who would've thought...it figures

Watch him get in the way of Lebron on some freak play and they both go down w/ injury. Oden is jinxed.

No diss to Oden but I could help Miami win a third straight title. Lol, but on a serious note I hope the Rockets have something to say about that!

And I assume that TH is a surgeon specializing in serious knee operation recovery of world class athletics. Excuse for my skepticism. His opinion is worth about a temporary tattoo. On the posterior of a donkey if you get my drift.
