From ESPN INsider Couch drawing interest <Feb. 14> Former Browns QB Tim Couch is expected to work out for the Texans this week, reports ESPN.com's John Clayton. Couch also is on the Dolphins' radar, and the Seahawks could be interested, as well. Previously, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported that the Bengals are considering Couch as a backup to Carson Palmer for next season. Current backup Jon Kitna is expected to leave via free agency. One other possible destination for Couch is Tennessee. Couch recently worked out for the Titans. Couch, the No. 1 pick of the 1999 draft, missed all of last season recovering from shoulder surgery. - I like him as a backup better than Banks & certainly Ragone...
Why? He's never done anything. I'd rather have Ragone, who's at least got some potential. Since we used a 3rd rounder on Ragone, shouldn't we at least move him up to backup at some point?
You trade Carr, and you need somone who may be able to start for a year before young is ready to come and throw some interceptions.
Here's how the meeting between Tim and David would probly go down: Casserly: Tim, meet what you once were. David, meet who you will probably become.
Funny, but i have to disagree with the outcome. David will seriously shut up a lot of people this seson. IMHO
Ditto that, Stack24. I can't wait for Carr to come out and show why he is a great QB when behind a good offensive line with Bush and AJ to throw to.
So the Texans will have three #1 overall draft pick QB's on the team. Hopefully, one of them will work out.
Dissagree! If that were the case they would be looking at veteran QB's who have accomplished something. Whats with the "young is ready to come and throw some interceptions"?
