Looking for (2) Medium Youth Swingmans (not screen print replicas) Can you help me out as to where I could find them? I actually had a 10 year old nephew willing to buy someone their own ticket just so he could have someone take him to see Yao Ming last Sunday.
Thanks for starting the thread ... I was searching for the one where the question was originally brought up. Here's what we know from the league: They can't sell jerseys until Yao Ming's contract is officially ratified by the Players' Association. That's really just a formality, but it needs to happen to make him official. (Don't worry, those things happen quickly.) The league is having a conference call this morning to resolve this issue as well as several others. They are going to let me know more on specifics after the call. They've assured us that Reebok realizes the size of the opportunity and will be in position to take advantage of it. Business-speak for they know they'll sell a lot of jerseys and they're moving as fast as the rules will allow. Tim

I been saying this all summer. I saw Yao Ming Jerseys on sale at NBA City in Orlando back over the summer.
Tim, thanks for the update on the jerseys! And great work on Rockets.com with the behind the scense Yao Ming video footage. Perhaps you guys can capture some of the Rockets practice with Ming. That would be a great feature. Hope to see more behind the scenes video features in the future! Chris
What you saw was a custom jersey with Yao's name on it. Those are way expensive. I imagine people are looking for the $40 replica jersey.

I'm honestly not sure what seats...heypartner can answer that one..he's the man that set it up.. ...(just in case you hadn't heard about this one, if ya had..just skip this) There is gonna be a huge chunk of bbs'ers at that game (Sonic's game) at the end of the season in honor of Smeggy Smeg's wedding.

Tim do you know if nike will still be able to make swingman jerseys after reebok takes over the nba uniforms next year.Also do you know if there are going to be aby Griffin swingman jerseys?,and will they have more selection at the shop in the Compaq Center this year?
Just wanted to pass along that they were selling both the road and home jerseys for $50 at the Compaq Center tonight. I was REALLY CLOSE to get one, but remembered that I had bills to pay. One note, is that it only says "Ming" on the back, not the full name. I would guess it will stay like that cause Yao planned to have his full name since he was drafted.
man i really hope they have ming and griffin swingman jerseys i almost bought a ming jersey tonight but i passed because the way the reebok ones fit to me the shoulder sleeve part fits like a wnba jersey i really want one though i wish tim would say if they will get swingmans or not

Tim, you rule! May I ask what the decision/outcome is for the uniform or logo? I may have been sleeping on this... but You know when a logo looks realllly good. Heck, when a logo or uniform looks neat, you don't really even care if you have anything to do w/ that company or product, you just feel that that shirt or coffee cup, or what have you, looks 'neat'. So you buy it! (cool, 'succint', if that is a word in art/design, fonts and colors go a long way, ie Raptors). Help us, help Les make $$$. Help us be able to look at our team's uniforms w/o slapping the side of the tv. Help us look snazzy in our new t-shirts.
"Ming" jersey vs. "YAO MING" jersey I cant believe they are selling jerseys with just "MING"on the back at Compaq center. Thats what happens when you jump the gun. Somebody should be swallowing these instead of trying to pawn them off on unsuspecting consumers. Until the "YAO MING" jerseys are ready my cash will remain in my pockets.
To those interested, I was at the NBA Store in Manhattan (5th Ave) yesterday, and they had one Reebok Rockets jersey with "Yao Ming" at the back. I am assuming this is the official jersey replica from Reebok. If they are selling it here in the NBA Store, I am sure it will be available in Houston soon if it is not already there. That's about all I saw of Yao Ming goods at the store though.
