Been listening for the past 30 minutes. I think he's been very candid, very honest with himself and the media. There still are some aspects of his ordeal he doesn't want to go into detail about, but that is understandable. He's portraying the right image right now anyway, only years and years on the straight and narrow will truly vindicate him in the eyes of the public.
Just ended, pretty good interview, he was pretty open and felt honest. I know why all the guys were hugging him on the tour though, he drives the winning purses through the roof, without Tiger the PGA is not nearly as interesting. DD
Just like Stern sweeping MJ's gambling problems under the rug in order to protect what he meant to the game and the worldwide effect it would have on the game itself if his misdeeds were exposed.
Honestly, who cares if the man cheated? Only people that should care about this is Tiger and his wife. None of our business.
Well I agree that it is none of our business, but his infidelity has made a lot of money for people so obviously those people care.
True. I guess I'm a hypocrite, cause I'm watching the press conference now. Tiger should be a politician. Sounds so incredibly fake.
I could see why... the guy was headed down a wrong path.. who knows how much worse it could have gotten... He's actually aware of his life now.
Who cares if it's a sport or not? Movies aren't a sport, either, but plenty of people pay attention to, are entertained by, and are interested in the participants of the movie industry. Same with music and a bunch of other stuff. Your beef may be more with ESPN...who clearly thinks golf is a sport. I'd agree Tiger is tool'ish.
That is what I thought right from the beginning. His wife and neighbors who dealt with the crash are all that should be relevant. I only know the guy because he plays golf, I don't know him as a family man. To me, if he came out and said, "who cares im freaking Tiger Woods suck it", that would have been fine. And pretty much true. Its not like he broke the law or something. Hell I would like the guy way more if he embarrassed the villain role.
What DD said. When he talked about how much he hated missing his son's first birthday I was kinda touched.
