Tierre Brown has only played in one game but I really liked what I saw. He came in and made things happen. His passing was crisp and with great vision. He also knocked down some shots.

    17(min), 4-8(fg), 1-2(3pt), 4(assist) 10 (pts)

This is a decent line for his first game ever. I was excited about how he handled himself on the court. I wish we would have seen more from him.

Not that I'd be unhappy with Jones but I beleive Brown has more upside potential. And since whoever the 3rd PG is going to be, they will ride the bench the whole season anyway.

Based on PT, however, it looks like DJones has a better shot at making the roster. Maybe neither makes the roster since spots are slim.

Either way, I hope both of them find a spot somewhere cause they are both talented.

I heard Rudy T say that it's not because Damon Jones ain't talented enough. It's because it will hurt his career, being third string point guard...

    That does make sense...:(

IMO Brown is not nearly as good as Jones. Rudy was simply being a gentleman and giving Jones a chance to play with someone else to help out his career. As the Chronicle reported, he is already close to signing another deal.
