Question: how many NBA players have won titles with three different teams, or even been there thrice? Horry (Rox, Spurs, Lakes) The only one with titles in three cities? Ho Grant (Magic, Lakes, Bulls) Shaq, if Heat defeat Pistons (Magic, Lakes, Heat*) Is the list correct? Is it complete?
i know it's about to happen, but horry hasn't been to the finals with SA as far as i can tell. he was on the LAL team that SA beat to stop the 3-peat when they won their 2nd title.
I'm surprised Moses Malone or Wilt didn't make it to the finals three times since they moved around a bit. How about Ron Harper? (Bulls, lakers, New York)...wait, am I confusing Harpers here?
Mo and Wilt two teams each, Houston/Philly. Philly/Lakes. Bo Derek Harper was Kenny 'the Jet's daddy in '94 Finals.
I knew it.... What about Mutombo, if he wins with Houston, that would be three right (Philly and NJ being the previous...)?
Horry didn't win a title with the Spurs, he signed with the Spurs after they won their title. And Shaq didn't win any title with the Magic, they went to the final once and got beat by the Rockets.
Nevitt wasn't on any of the Bulls Finals teams. He had a cup of coffee with the 1991 team (I think it was) but didn't make it past Thanksgiving. He does have a nice mustache, though.
I thought this was a thread about players WINNING NBA titles with 3 different teams and not players GETTING to the Finals with 3 different teams....
