    I want you guys to take this seriously. My father and mother are friends with Phils wife. I want you guys to sign this thread and say something positive for our guys, and I will print this out when I have enough responses, and have my father fax it to Phil's wife up there in St. Louis.

    Let our boys know that we have our hearts dedicated to them, and that we completely believe that this will happen.

    Since I chipped my tooth in your pool in the early 80's, I've been a devoted Astros fan. Your family is terrific. I'm proud of the season Phil and the Astros have put together. Regardless of the outcome of this series against the Cardinals, this has been the most amazing year. With that said, show the Redbirds who's boss.

    What you have done with this ballclub has meant more to me than just a baseball season; it's given me the lesson that no matter how dire or daunting a task may seem, I can persevere and perform well as long as I concentrate and believe in what I can do.

    Thank you so much for making me proud to be a Houston Astros fan when there were so many doubters. I wish you the best of luck from Alabama!

    Amazing effort this year!!! I'm incredibly proud of this team and especially Bagwell and Biggio. You guys have shown what we knew all along that you were made of. Win or lose this series we will think you are champions but be believe me we want a win so that we can go kick some Yankee ass. Go Astros!!! We believe!!!

    For a Houston team there is no other way than the long and arduous route. Forget the pressure and enjoy the moment. You've done something no other Astros team has and you've given the fans real hope. We will forever be grateful.

    My friends who are Cardinals fans say, they have the better hitting, fielding, bullpen and better rested starters. They forgot one thing.
