    Should the Rockets make a trade to go up in the draft. Is there anyone worth the move in the draft.

    first, you bust out the "Remember Richard Jefferson?" thread...as if we haven't been over the subject a gazillion times already.

    then you start this crap about the draft when no one knows who is picking where or even who all is making themselves eligible for the draft.

    Man.. when we traded Eddie Griffin ... I was soo happy!! cause i heard so much about Eddie being a top pick.. now i'm seeing Jefferson ignite its just crazy!.. i wonder if Eddie would do a lot better in the East though.. oh wells.. but i want the rockets to try and get Ford!!!


    we can let eddie improve, bulk him up, give Mo-Tay some minutes while Eddie grow... Ming and Cato are a good combo at the Center i love it.. and if Francis wants to play the 2 then i suggest we trade Mobley and some scrubs (scrubs = Moochie) for a top pick but i doubt anyone would want Moochie..for T.J ford if thats possible.. a big risk there so... i think Glen Rice is a good value to trade with his contract expiring.. so whatever it takes to keep a good trade (not a crazy trade) but something the rockets can deal with adding in T.J ford.. TJ IS CRAZY!!!!! WE NEED HIM!!

    I think we should take a flier on somebody who we can let develop into a starting 3 in a couple of years. Off the top of my head Ebi and Villanueva come to mind (and both might be had at the tail end of the 1st or early 2nd so we could get a pick thereabouts). We need vets on this squad at the moment, but I dont see how you can EVER go wrong by getting as much talent as you can as long as there is a plan on how to implement it and everybody knows the plan.
