The nets get no credit from these commentators. Marv Albert just stated, the Lakers are on Fire. They're shooting the lights out. While Bill Walton statesThe nets are shooting just 27% from the field What gets me aggravated is the fact that the Nets were only down 5 points when those comments were stated. It's like everyone is out to get the Nets. By that I mean, they're trying there hardest even though their percentages don't show it and yet, the Lakers get all the credit from the NBC guys. Which in turn gives Laker fans more confidence, thus decreasing any success of trying to prove the lakers aren't that great.
just you wait guys. the NBA is making it very dramatic. They have seen the light and know people are on their tails about the conspiracy. The Lakers will go up 3-0 and then the Nets will come storming back in the series to make it 3-3. Millions of people will tune in for the game seven that the NBA told the refs to make happen and that ONE DAY of ratings on a network that will no longer cover their games will have successfully rigged the NBA finals. Mark my words. It will happen. Nets v. Lakers game seven, just you wait. The NBA will have a game seven. They need the ratings despite having a brand new contract worth more than the one they currently have. (even when ratings have been way down) The truth is out there.
I'd rather watch that conspiracy than the garbage they showed today and a couple days before, Sir Charles... Lakers aren't that great, UNMKT? As far as I'm concerned, this season's over. Next season, when the Kings come back juiced up, and other teams trade to match up Shaq, we'll see if the Lakers were complacent with their "greatness" this season or frauds... A fourpeat would be harder to dispute eh?
I hate bill walton hes a horrible commentator I dont expect the Nets to have a great season like they did this year, i would hope they would but i can see someone else in the east.
I don't think anyone has made a post about this so I will. When have you seen a losing team's star player(In this case it was Mike Bibby on Sunday night for game 7) get interviewed throughly by the field reporter's after a critical game? huh? Why did this occur? In almost a half dozen years viewing critical games of any sport(whether it be NHL,NBA,MLS,NFL,FIFA soccer,WNBA, etc...) I can't recall of any player being interviewed after he played his heart out and Jim Greyin this case was the man who gave the interview to Mike with some heart wrenching questions. Conspiracy, yesssssssssssssssssssss I sure hope so
The Kings are all young... but the problem is Vlade is OLD. He says he's 34, but I live in Sac and I know better. He lies about his age; he's more like 37 or 38. After Vlade's gone (and it won't be long), who's guarding Shaq? Not Pollard. Not to mention, Vlade is the Kings' best Lockerroom presence by far. I love the Kings, but if Vlade leaves and they don't get a good replacement, they're not going anywhere. By the Way, anyone just see Red Wings over Hurricanes in Triple overtime? Great stuff. Irbe's save in the 2nd OT was amazing.
It's too bad that Vlade picked up smoking again after he said he stopped because of his son. That stuff takes years off your life... Well at worst, he'll be another Sabonis...
