I don't know to me they look the same

 

T-mac's eyes are scaring me.

 

It looks alot better on T-mac i tell you that!!

 

they look slightly different. Appears that the rockets on mcgrady come below his shoulders where as on padgett they are right at his shoulders. space between rockets and number though look the same.

 

Rockets on the front of the jersey is a lower thats about it, LOOKS REALLY SHARP ON T-MAC!

 

This is a classic post! It just goes to show what Rocket Freaks we really are. I would have to agree that the numbers are slightly lower. This is a good adjustment!

 

Does T-Mac have Stuart Scott syndrome?

 

What color is the trim on the red jerseys supposed to be? I remember hearing silver, and when I see them on tv, they look white.

It was allways suppose to be silver... It just looks white on camera for some reason, your not color blinded dont worry

 

The jersey on T-Mac looks like it was made half-assed...someone needs to tell the Rockets to make the font and numbers on the front bigger...

 

The one that T-Mac is wearin isn't the Authentic one the Rockets use the the Collar is way to thick than original ones reminds me of the 2nd jersey Oski2005 posted up

 

^^ it just looks diff cuz of lighting. i have an authentic.. it's grey. anyone gonna cop an authentic mcgrady jersey? you can get one personalized at the nba store, just put '1' and Mcgrady.

 

I hope that they've lowered the lettering on the jersey. I always wondered why the "Rockets" on the jersey is up so high. It also be better if they made the number on back of the jersey a lot larger.

I was optimistic about the new jersey thinking maybe it might grow on me cause I never really liked em that much. Then when I saw the Reebok replica jerseys at the store I hated em even more. They look cheap. I almost bought a Nike Swingman Orlando McGrady jersey a while back.

I might have to break down and buy an Authentic McGrady jersey now since we dont have the Nike Swingman jerseys for the Rockets yet. I hope they make one for McGrady soon.

 

they do sell rockets swingmans.. yaos and francis. i've seen 'em in all colors.

I just saw the old Francis Swingman on Eastbay.com

 

We on the boards made it very clear to Tim last year that the numbers on the front of the new jersey read 'too small'. This is especially true on television. His reply was that the numbers complied with the NBA's specs but BBSers posted pics showing how the skinny font appeared a lot smaller than teams that used a block type font or a shadowed type font.

So, I wouldn't be surprised if the team was making some subtle adjustments to the jersey appearance but I don't think the NBA will allow them a major change for a couple of years. I guess a font change for the numerals is a major change....?

Also, I have posted that anything silver or grey just reads as dirty white and they should just go with plain ol white rather than trying to fancy them up with silver.
