I thought JVG would have made it tolerable, but even the few highlights of his funny comments couldn't save the show.

It was painful to listen to Stewart Scott make idiotic comments over and over again. What made it worse was that Stewart talked ALL THE TIME. They didn't even report on most of the rumors flying around the league. Hell watching him made me want SAS back on the table with them.

ESPN please for the love of God don't bring Stewart Scott back to do anything remotely associated with the NBA ever again.

It's Stuart Scott. That's what you get.

Any part of the coverage that wasn't centered around him was really good though, I thought.

The part where he kept on talking about Arthur annoyed me the most.
Ok this kid's dreams where pretty much shattered into a million little pieces tonight. So can you please leave him alone and stop talking about him chewing bubble gum, is it a habit? Is he's nervous? How about the poor guy just want to chew some gum

Stuart Scott's schtick: throw out as many numbers and facts as you possibly can in a 20 second time frame. And then repeat said fact again 30 minutes later.

"I think this kid will pan out for the Lakers if he gets some experience in either the D-League or during garbage time"
"You know guys, with Pau Gasol in the lineup, the Lakers were 22-5"

    ?!?!?

After the 1st round I muted the t.v. and just looked if they showed anything interesting.

Stuart Scott thinks Shaq is still better than Yao...because he's his Boi. That's pretty much Stuart Scott, ESPN's sad attempt to get a hippidy hoppidy sportscaster to appeal to us younguns who r stoopid and listen 2 rap musix.

Stuart doesn't even seem like the hip hop type though. Seems like someone who tries to be something that they are not, but who knows I could be wrong.

Last year was sooo much better even if Screaming A Smith was there. Mike Tirico I think that was the guy who did it last year. Tirico never said anything and this year we have to listen to Scott make all of these TERRIBLE jokes and blab on and on and on and on. Mark Jackson sucks too.

And now this year they interview the moms. They spent more time talking to the moms than to the players. Doris Burke ugh... TNT should do everything NBA related.

"This is Portland's 137th pick... KIDDING GUYS JUST KDDING"

That coverage needed more Stephen A Frickin Smith, and his cheese doodles. JVG is still the best commentator on ESPN or TNT.

Thank god I am not the only one who thinks that Stuart Scott is the most idiotic announcer who uses the most random and non related similes, comparisons, and just RADMOM facts about players. Everytime I listen to this guy talks he says something that I wasn't looking forward to hearing. I don't know where he gets all his stats from but that person needs to be fired.

Someone here mentioned the female, what was her name?, the blonde? Awful. "Hey, honey, go down there with your microphone and ask him questions in a voice sure to make him feel even worse. (pause) And don't use tic-tacs, then maybe he WILL cry."

Stuart Scott actually made me miss Stephen A Smith. REMARKABLE.

yeah I thought Stuart said too many of those quick facts as well. I was hoping Mike Tirico would have been there instead.

You know what's the most annoying thing about Stuart Scott (on top of all his other annoying crap)?

How he NEVER CEASES to sarcastically insert "A guy named..." before a big name.

"Oh you know who else was drafted that year? A guy named Lewis Alcindor."
"Another big #15 draft pick? A guy named Steve Nash. He turned out pretty good."
"He's being compared to a guy named Lebron James. Not sure if you've heard of him."

We get it, they're big names that everyone knows. Someone should rewind tonight's draft coverage and count the number of times he said it. I'd bet my savings that it's at least 20.

I haven't seen much of Stuart Scott in a long time.. but he used to make me laugh with his little "street" sayings.

    commentating on highlights:
"Dwayde to Shaq for da badunkaduunkk. My main man Diesel with tha mashugna off da heezy fo sheezy! Straight butta! BOOYAH! ROLF! BRB! TTYL!"

Sometimes I wonder if the guy will ever run out of batteries.
