    Freak,

    You'd be interested in this.

The Project covered Money by Pink Floyd for the new movie, The Italian Job. Also, they just finished a song w/ Weiland called Set Me Free for The Hulk due out June 20th.

STONE TEMPLE PILOTS' Scott Weiland will front the band THE PROJECT for at least one song, a cover of PINK FLOYD's 'Money' that is set to appear on the soundtrack for the remake of the British crime comedy The Italian Job. The film is directed by F. Gary Gary and stars Mark Wahlberg, Edward Norton and Charlize Theron. Weiland has been hotly tipped to become the lead singer of The Project, the band that features former GUNS N' ROSES members Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum. "Scott is doing this one because that's the voice that they wanted and they like working with him," a spokesman for Slash said, adding that the group is still auditioning a number of other vocalists. Those being considered include Sebastian Bach (ex-SKID ROW), Travis Meeks (DAYS OF THE NEW), A. Jay Popoff (LIT), Joshua Todd (ex-BUCKCHERRY) and Kelly Shaefer (ex-NEUROTICA). Over 600 candidates have applied for the position and the band have held live auditions with at least 100. The cover of 'Money' also features guitarist David Kushner (LOADED). The Italian Job soundtrack is due for release on May 26th.
