With the addition of Griffin and T. Mo. I'm close to satisfied.

If Griffin turns out to be the second coming of a Hakeem, man that would kick serious tail. The way Griffin is blocking shots and rebounding, I'm amazed just reading about it. Griffin's offense is only on a temporary vacation.

And Terrence Morris is doing everything we all expected of him. This entire past year, that was the guy I wanted the Rockets to get.

But, now that Webber seems to be out of the picture. Robinson just signed with the Spurs. Davis re-signs with the Raptors. Etc. etc. Are the rockets going to get any help at the center position? Come on, Hakeem, Cato, and Collier can't possibly hold down the fort! Between the Hakeem break downs, Cato brain lappses, and Collier bench quality minutes; between them we have a subpar center.

Come on, we still have to do a trade. We have Williams and Cato to trade. Anderson and Hakeem to send out in a S&T deal. And Kenny Thomas to facilitate a blockbuster deal.

We have to bring help to the core of Francis, Mobley, Griffin, Taylor, Langhi, and Norris.

    Lafrentz does it for me.

This is my summer dream team.

    c- Lafrentz
    PF-Taylor
    SF-Griffin
    SG-Mobley
    PG-Francis

with Langhi, Norris, and Thomas rounding out our 8 man rotation.

I think that Terrance Morris will contribute this year, and along with Bullard and I think Collier will play a solid role giving this team a solid 11 man rotation. Ironically Webber needs us more then we need him. If the Rockets gave him a nice offer he would probably take it. He is doing anything he can to get out of Sacramento!

We had a great offseason even if we don't sign one free agent. I'd give us an A+ for landing Griffin, but at the same time, I realize that it could have been an even better off season. I don't think I'm alone either.

Why do yall hate on collier before he got hurt the ROCKS were on a roll.if collier can get healthy it will be dream collier then fat A$$.I DON`T THINK THE ROCKS NEED A DOMINENT CENTER to score 20-25 points gm. or 10-15 rebs a gm.thats why i feel dream can do the job for us by getting 10 points,10-8 rebs gm.and the rockets will roll baby.Does any one feel the rocks can win the division right now?

I doubt we'll be winning division much less get ahead of San Antonio, Dallas and (realistically) Utah. Then you got the Wolves who are probably just as good as we are.

Mr. President. No man thinks more highly than I of three legged cows. They deserve to live. On my own part, I consider it as nothing less than a question of reason. Cows with three legs are good. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth : three-legged cows are better. They are better because the meat on them is better. The steaks are more tender. Three-legged cows tend not to wander as much. These cows could be the symbol of our country. The world would look upon us with great respect. They will want our cows and pay good money for them. The cows could symbolize freedom and hard work and three legs are better than four. They are meant for us; they can be meant for no other.

I agree with knifejc, you really can't judge the offseason before its over. Especially since we haven't begun the free agent signing period! It ain't over, till it's over!

I think the last 4 off seasons have been pure greatness. Lets review:

98 We get Cat, Dickerson and Drew. Cat has turned into an all star caliber 2. Dickerson was the main cog in the Steve Francis trade the next year. Drew...well no one is perfect.

99 Francis and Thomas. Stevie is an all star caliber point guard that is the leader of our team and Thomas has proven to be a valuable player off the bench.

00 Collier and Langhi. The Collier trade has proven to be genius, Pryzbilla has shown no signs of even realizing the basketball is round and the extra first round pick helped bring in Eddie Griffin. Langhi looks like he is ready to be a solid offensive weopon off the bench at both the 2 and 3.

01 Eddie Griffin and Terrence Morris. Eddie will be a super star of the highest order when his career is over, he alone makes this one hell of an off season. TRock looks to be a complete player, almost NBA ready. Together those to may eventually form our two starting forwards.

Can someone show me just one team that has done as well in the draft over the last four years? Hell, I will put Rudy T's off season record against anyones...period.
