Regardless of whether it's a win, loss or tie, by Thanksgiving they will be absolutely spent. And on a side note, can they replace Graham? If not now, he will cost the team a game at some point. I've been skeptical since he missed the 52-yarder short on opening day.
Lions are playing on short rest too and played down to the wire. I'd be more worried about them being in desperation mode as their season is hanging by a thread now.
Yep. And who knows... if they blow out the Jags, they likely come out flat regardless against the Lions. Now? They've got that nothing to lose mentality... and the knowledge that they can come back after trailing late (something they haven't had to do all year).
Well, the Texans'll have to suck it up. They did this to themselves: Lie #1: "This isn't a trap game." Lie #2: "We're not looking past the Jags." Lie #3: "We take every foe seriously." Lie #4: "The check is in the mail." Lie #5: "Of COURSE I love you." etc.
lol stopped reading the rest of the post after G. Graham...who played an outstanding game...my bad Now in regards to our kicker...yes...huge issue with him totally missing the kick...the snap, hold was decent...and if that was to tie the game...and that happened...i would be a lot more upset... Anyways...good to see both sides of the ball playing lights out from the 4th quarter onwards...
They didn't play almost a full extra quarter with both sides seeing plenty of time on the field. I worry that if the game is close late, the Texans may or may not have the legs to finish but I think this game catches their attention. Those wins are good for a good team because it does humble you without losing.
Actually, I was going to create a thread laughing at myself for that thread. Given what the Giants did last year, plus how this season has gone, there is no best team in the NFL because anyone can beat anyone on a given week, just as we saw today. Having homefield advantage in the playoffs is the best way to do that and we're well on our way to doing that so all's well that ends well.
49ers suck. Overrated. Alex Smith is the definition of a scrub. Have fun getting knocked out in the first round.
