Not drafting Bryce Young is holding this team back.

Next week's game is absolutely huge and I'm worried due to coaching because the Colts have better coaching. They could've have won the first game if AR could hit wide open receivers. The Colts coaching staff started last year as well but they are much better staff.

    Great post and spot on.

Good news is it is easily fixed by assigning one of the other coaches to be in charge of clock management and telling DeMeco when to throw the red flag.

They clearly don't work on late game situations - they bungle every single one.

Winning the turnover battle by 3 and still finding a way to lose is disgraceful. Bobby needs to go and Demeco needs to fix these baffling late game decisions or he'll follow shortly afterward.

Sadly, they won't until CJ is already the highest paid quarterback in the NFL for 20 minutes, and cap hell consumes the team.

I don't want to see CJ's rookie deal wasted with the talent at the skill positions. O-line is awful but better coaching/scheme may still be able to counter that. I don't want them to hold on to any of these coaches if it looks like they are not capable of taking this team to the next level during this phase.

I know a bunch of teams have a "passing game coordinator"...do the Texans?

Also we need to hire a guy who is solely in charge of clock management, challenges, and timeouts. Is McNair too cheap to afford a $100k a year job?

Green Bay is a very good team and we barely lost on the road.

Offensive line has been very concerning but it will have to be a work in progress. And Slowik has been hot and cold. BUT we are only two seasons removed from being a joke of a franchise.

I think they play well in late game situations. Today was an outlier. Problem is, they're not innovative with offensive play calling and they do not adjust after halftime. It shows by the lack of scoring in the 2nd half.

Today they adjusted in the 2nd quarter, had a huge spike in the rushing game.

GB adjusted to that in the 3rd (but still couldn’t fully slow it down).

Maybe they should have saved the running game adjustment for the 2nd half to give GB less time to adjust?

This is real game theory now.

I can forgive the coaching staff for being conservative on the last drive and not throwing. Offensive line couldn't pass block all day long. It's the Jimmys and Joes, not the Xs and Os.

His secondary wasn't ready. That's the reason he was doing that. At worst case, call a timeout and maybe they don't give up a score next play. No way am I calling Demeco an idiot though. Yall wild smh
