To be honest, if you had showed that to me a year or two ago, I might have yakked all over the keyboard and gone on a ZRBlinebury-esque rant about loyalty and whatnot. But looking at it now, I can't say I am so upset. I think ... maybe ... I ... am ... <gasp>... cool with it. Go Hakeem. Go Vince. Good luck in East, I will root for you. That was my lower emotions initiating the gag reflex. My higher emotions know that Hakeem was exactly right when he said his role on the Raptors would be better than in Houston and our guys would improve at a quicker pace without him on the team. It still didn't stop my desire to hurl. I'll probably get that up until mid-season.
Actually the Raptors have one of the best looking unis in the league IMO along with the T-Wolves, Magic, and Sixers. Seeing the Olajuwon 34 on a different uniform other than Rockets red and blue makes me want to hurl. First Ewing, now Dream. Is Malone, Stockton, or Robinson the next icon of his city to go on to a different team? It's a shame...
3 more million dollars just to see that picture makes me sick, even if it had to be done! Get us a big man PLEASE CD so that we can put a hurt on Toronto and get to the playoffs!
Where's the PIN-Stripes on the Raptors uniform, I'm sure the rockets included the the pin-stripes in the trade. Grrrr
You think that first pic as bad? Not trying to make anyone sick - but how's this one? I think the Raptor unis make him look thinner - he looks like Mamadou N'Diaye in that one
And to think we were worried at one time that Hakeem's uniform would read "Kentucky" or "Louisville."
Was trading Oakley a prerequisite to signing Hakeem -- not for on-court purposes, but to free up the number???
