Not only do I get to root for the Rockets, but I'll also have a vested interest in watching the Jazz, Lakers, and Warriors and pulling against them.

I'll be watching the Jazz and Warriors tomorrow.

I'd rather the Lakers go home. The Jazz will lose in the first round anyways. I just hate how entitled Lakers fans are. It would be nice to have an offseason without LA undeservedly dominating the headlines (it might happen anyways.)

Rox at the 6th spot means facing LAC at he 3rd spot. I have not liked how we played the clippers this year... I think they are the deepest team. I would rather face SAS and even OkC than the clippers.

    No.

    GO HOME LAKERS.

Kobe should retire his old ass. Dwight Howard should go to reality television.
Steve Nash needs to go to a RETIREMENT HOME. And Pau Gasol needs to go back to Spain.

Metta needs to come back to the Rockets on a minimum salary.

I really was hoping there would be someone all three of Utah, Dallas and LA would miss the playoffs, but Portland blew it.

    in order, id rather face

    1. OKC
    2. LAC
    3. SAS

i was at the sa/hou game in sa, and they manhandled us despite the score. i really don't like our odds against such a veteran squad.

the clippers...well they have del negro at coach. they are a super deep team that we've obviously had trouble against (though harden didnt play). id rather play them than san antonio, but i'd rather play okc over both teams

i know. okc is soooooo good. but they're beatable. especially if westbrook goes in his meltdown mode. they are a very good team, no doubt, and no one would pick us to win. id like to see this team in an underdog role, with nothing to lose, against a team that runs and guns like us.

Metta next to Harden wont happen.
If Lakers make it and we advance to 2nd Rd, we can only pray the Lakers put up a fight and get our 2nd Rd opponent tired. Thus the young Rockets taking advantage of the moment. Jazz dont seem like anyone will struggle against them.

It was fun last season too until the 7 game losing streak ended all hope.

I don't want any part of the Spurs. If they're healthy, there's no way the Rockets beat them. At least with OKC and the Clips, there's a chance. OKC is my top choice for 1st round opponent as well, but mostly because of the buzz that would surround that series. Harden going up against his old team? Who doesn't wanna see that?

We have a game against GSW in a couple days. If we win that game and the Dallas game coming up, we can be 6th seed just like that.

The thing that sucks though is we'll have a really tough out whether we are 6th, 7th, or 8th. I can't even choose which team I would want to face out of those 3.

Have we had a season where we blow out both our most hated Mavs and Jazz?

Yeah I would definitely put it like this

    6. Rockets
    7. Warriors
    8. Lakers

If LA weren't able to make the playoffs then the storylines would be dominated even more by them...shoot they may even take steam away and still have attention on them. To me, its just the lesser of two evils. Most fans of the lakers are fickle but I know a few that have followed since ceballos and nick van exel days so I respect them for going through the mid 90's lol

Anyways, the Rockets facing the Clippers seem like the best IMO because our style can psyche em out and Blake is an overrated 4. If Dmo can improve just enough w/ his hustle then he can take advantage of Blake cause Blake does not fair very well against high energy guys and has absolutely no post game. Lin will definitely be outclassed by cp3 but the clippers have no answer to Harden on defense. I also have a strong dislike for cp3's attitude so I would much rather us take them out of the playoffs

I don't care who we face, but I want the Lakers in so they can at least knock some wind out of one of the top seeds. I don't see the Jazz or Warriors being able to do that. I do see the Lakers miraculously upping their game in the playoffs.

I agree with that. I feel that us or the lakers are the only teams that can take any of the top 3 teams and run the table

Why do you want the Lakers to do that?
