So today I was walking to bring my pregnant girlfriend some coney island. And out of no where two cop cars roll up on me about four cops jump out and one of them put his hand on his gun and told me to get my hands out my pocket. Now this is what really gets me angry. When I asked the cops why they stop me the one cop who had put his hand on his gun tells me we didn't have anything better to do. Now I know thats why they was just messing with me but I didn't expect him to just come out and say it like that. Then he ask me how many warrants do I have I told him I didn't have any and I think that got him mad. He could tell by the way I was talking that I was telling the truth he didnt even run my name. So then he ask for my I.D. and I said I didnt have it and he said I could take you to jail for that. After they let me go he screams out the car you better have that I.D. next time. Now I don't know if that seen like a lot to you guys but the way they was talking to me it made me feel like I was nothing.
I don't think you have to have ID. Is it required by law that you carry ID? Its not like you were driving without a license. This sounds like a terrible ordeal. I would hope you wouldn't lump all police into hate because of the actions of a few bad ones, but I can see your point of view.

Yes I'm black. But get this 3 of the cops was also black. And the main one that was talking to me was black.
Yes its required to have I.D. but its like J walking no really makes a big deal out of it. And naw I dont hate all cops becasue I have ran into a few nice ones.

Clearly this is all acceptable conduct for police if you were dressed like an average black youth...i mean "thug".
thats not true you just have to give them your name and info. There is no legal requirement for americans to carry "their papers" with them.
