Number one, Hakeem is out for 6-8weeks,
Francis will only be out the two games that
    just passed.

Number two, Some people act like Steve
Francis 18pts, 7assists, 5rebounds, have been a negative because the Rockets beat
the Phoenix Suns and the woeful Clippers, minus Steve Francis. Drew jacks up 18 shots
and small minority thinks he passes the ball more than Francis, and that he's more unselfish and a better point.

Number three, the fact is this team is better by leaps and bounds without the Hakeem of present. I know that last statment may ruffle some feathers out there, but its the plain truth, and you know it if you have personally watched every Rocket game this season. Every game since Portland we have been watching the team that Clutch was seeing at training camp in Austin...And it's a joy to watch finally.

When Dream comes back he needs to hustle as much as his teamates are now, not just slow the game down and play at a snail like pace.

    RUN RUN RUN

If Dream gets tired, sub. By the time Hak comess back we will have guys with experience to spell him for extended periods of time.

It's crazy to think Drew is a better point than Francis. Drew will never be on Francis' level. Drew's assists weren't anything special. They were simple passes to guys standing on the perimeter. If guys were being this agressive and hitting open shots like this while Francis was in, Steve would have had a 20 assist game by now. When Steve gets back, we'll just play this same way because this is how Steve wants to lay anyway. Guys like Shandon just have to not go back to passing open shots and not running hard up the floor.

Steve is the fuc**ing bomb. I really don't see any selfishness in his game. He does everything he is one of our better rebounders. I think these guys (drew, thomas, cato, shandon, etc.)are learning what they can do in the scope of our "system" . I can't see Stevie screwing that up because even when he goes 4-16 there aren't really any times that I can say Steve is just jacking it up. I love this team....no doubt about it. I am hoping that our improved play (3-2 over last 5) translates in to a good season. Realistically I think we've eliminated any hope for any high seeding in the playoffs (i.e definitely no home court advantage) SCrew it I don't give a damn...tell me it's over if we have 25 losses before 10 wins.

We incorporate them into the system we now have. We should use Hakeem the same way that we've been using Cato. I know Hakeem still has some of the athleticism he once had, we can have him run the floor, and give him his 20 footers. Whatever we do, when he comes I hope he doesn't just clog up the middle. If he goes through with this, we will be any even better team and we will make the Playoffs.
