    The Fina gas station on Josey and Rosemeade had gas for $1.31 a gallon for today only I think.(1310 AM The Ticket was the sponsors I guess)

    It was a pretty big deal I guess, the police and event staff was directing traffic into and out of the gas station. I ended up waiting in line for 45 minutes for the fillup, but it was certainly cheaper than the norm.

    Yeah, so if they fill up 8 gallons, they save a whopping 5 dollars. If gas is always this cheap (can't believe I'm calling 1.31 for gas cheap) then you'd save about 20+ dollars every month which is nice, but it's just not worth it for the circus atomsphere it would bring going to that station today for a one shot deal.

    Wow, $1.31?!? That would of been sweet to get.

    For you Dallas guys, it's just ridiculous to drive by and see the cheapest gas is $2.20 and above....

    No kidding, especially when you're idling your car for 45 minutes wasting gas.

    thats about 1/2 a mile from my house too, and its usually the cheapest in the area anyway.

    We spend a lot more money on stupider stuff than gas to be b****ing about gas prices.

    Well, just MHO anyway... :)
