...since "The Rape of Nanking". Sick. Thoughts: 1) I hope the attacker burns in hell. 2) I hope the TV producer who decided to air this burns in hell. 3) I hope any sleazebag American TV producer who slaps his forehead and thinks "Why didn't I think of that?!?!?" burns in hell. 4) Yes, I am aware that there's a thematically similar movie due in theatres soon. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go vomit up my breakfast now. ------------------ If I ain't dead already, girl you know the reason why...
Reality television is based on fear and desire. It seems as if they've merely gone to the furthest end of the spectrum. Next I assume, they'll show snuff films. Awwww, those poor redneck COPS viewers... if only they weren't held down by the FCC. ------------------ Good night everyone, Canadian or American. Yeah, Achebe, what exactly are they thinking....? "Maybe if we show a film of a woman being beaten and raped, people will realize it's a bad thing and not do it any more!" I say, why stop there? Why not put "Murder Strictly Prohibited" signs up all over town? (stole that bit from George Carlin)
Yes sick. Sick indeed. ------------------ "...just because a clever person can complicate the discussion about the truth doesn't necessarily mean he or she is making any progress in finding it."
God, that is awful. "And coming up on IBC-TV, mutilated animals, serial killers torturing their victims and a baby being bludgeoned to death!" Ugh! ------------------ Me fail English? That's unpossible.
Is faces of Death 1-5 like some of the most rented sh*t in history So this. . honestly does not surprise me I don't like it [never seen faces of death . . but GOD I HEARD SSSSOOOOOOOOOO MUCH ABOUT IT that I feel like I watched it] People are people Rocket River ------------------
We live in a very sick world. It has been said that a sick act is committed at least a thousand times a second of every hour of every day here on Earth. ------------------ Sometimes you gotta do the next best thing!
Some of my college friends rented Faces of Death one time, and I watched some of it. It was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen, and I will never get some of the images out of my head. What is it about some people that can allow them to watch that stuff, and not vomit? I don't understand, and I hope I never do. ------------------ "Of course, everything looks bad if you remember it!" Homer Simpson
Knowing that the vast majority of the stuff in the film is fake makes it easier to stomach such images. ------------------ Houston Sports Board The Anti-Bud Adams Page
How can any person be so deranged as to commit acts like that? Things like this are not helping my lack of faith in humanity. ------------------ Someone who is about to admonish another must realize within himself five qualities before doing so (that he may be able to say), thus: In due season will I speak, not out of season. In truth will I speak, not in falsehood. Gently will I speak, not harshly. To his profit will I speak, not to his loss. With kindly intent will I speak, not in anger. -from the Vinaya Pitaka
its like that movie with Dee snyder, Strange land, that is just sick. ------------------ May I have another Snowball Clutch? Please may I? Ill be a good little mole.... I promise.
Wouldn't that go for any movie that starred Dee Snider? ------------------ Houston Sports Board The Anti-Bud Adams Page
If you guys get a chance, watch Series 7. It didn't win anything at Sundance, but I'm pretty sure that it'll be at least on video if not in the theaters. It does a pretty funny bit on reality tv. ------------------ Good night everyone, Canadian or American. Just remember that we're all bound together by basketball, the internet and the mullet. Hum... Interesting, While I don't condone putting this kind of stuff on TV, I wonder; would you watch a death row execution if it was shown? ------------------ Everything you do, effects everything that is.
No, I would not watch an execution. I don't begrudge the family members of victims the right to do so, but I personally have no interest in seeing something like that. I don't like death. ------------------ "Corpses are icky." --Chris Robinson
