I had heard about this last weekend at work and I just saw the pictures...I thought I was going to throw up! That is so sad to see something like this. There's a site that is calling for people to sign a petition to expel these 2 fraternities. I urge every person on this BBS to go to that site and sign the petition. The thing that baffles me is that these people, sat down, and said, "You know what would be a great idea?" I can't understand why people would think this was a good idea.
What do you guys think about someone dressing up as Osama Bin Laden for Halloween? I'm not sure if it actually happened, but someone I work with was tossing around the idea of doing just that. His girlfriend was talking about it and I happened to overhear. I couldn't believe someone would even consider doing something that stupid and made sure she knew how utterly stupid I thought the idea was.
You know... there are a lot of people out there today that don't think racism is that big of a deal. I just don't see how they could be blind. --------- The two frats didn't look like they collaborated. The one with the klansman looked to be the worse of the two. In the photos at the other party, from what I could see, it didn't look nearly as offensive. Although, I did see a few who were enjoying the degrading aspect a little more than others. Not that I would've enjoyed being at either party.
About the only redeeming quality about this is that now at least 2 of the morons are pictured for everyone and their mother to see nationwide... I suggest people circulate the pictures and let everyone see who the dumbasses are. Will their names be released? That'd be even better... especially if they graduate and someone actually remembers their names/pics.
That is EXACTLY what I kept thinking when I was reading the article. Not only are these guys offensive, but they are absolutely freaking stupid too! Unreal.
