He drove away clearly resisting arrest. He should have sat still put his hands up and accepted the gun shots point blank if he wanted to comply

This is so F`d up on so many levels, can a cop just come and open your door like that? The kid is obviously eating and then the cop looks like he goes to grab him and then starts shooting.......what's the justification, that dude needs to go to prison and that kid needs to sue the hell out of the department. I am sure there are decent cops out there......I`ve just never encountered any, my experiences have been with the meatheads of the cop world, with a side of steroids and an ego the size of Texas
the guy never even announced he was a cop all that kid knew is some random guy opened his car door and told him to get out, and then tried to grab him cop needs prison time for sure, and hopefully that kid lives

I heard that the cops supposedly recognized him from the previous night when the kid evaded trying to avoid a ticket or something. Not sure how true that is. Also heard the cop was a rookie. It shows. Charging him with evading arrest would be like the streaker at the Rams game winning his lawsuit. Both are equally pitiful.
I don't care who it is...if I'm sitting in my truck and someone I don't see just all of the sudden opens my door, my first reaction is to throw it in gear and get the hell away.
