<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/aMfSGt6rHos" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I don't know if it's posted, but I've never been so blown away by a commercials before. Who ever did Chipotle's commercial needs to get a raise.
It was an OK commercial. A little too long for me since my attention span for commercials doesn't normally extend past 30-45 seconds.

we let our animals run around freely before we slaughter them? kind of bizarre marketing angle if you ask me. cool commercial though.
if you are into great ingredients a step up from Chipotle is Moe's Southwest. They have grass fed beef. Chipotle raised the bard, but their meat is not organic, and even their vegetables is "they try to use organic as much as possible" If you know about all the pesticides and things you put in your body, grass fed/organic is the best way to go and there still isn't a perfect solution since these guys both of them use bad oils, some soy wheat. They are ahead of the pack, but still room to improve. but great commercial
for me it being a conscious thing for animals is one part, but a small part really .I do think its a bit more responsible, but in the end the most important factor is the stuff that you are putting into your body and fuel. From acne, energy, obesity, etc with the right ingredients and watchin what kind of stuff you put in your body(pesticides, etc) you will see the ailments go away for good. Look up paleolithic diet, they have some idea.
I think a lot of that stuff is fad dieting to induce a placebo effect. My wife keeps trying to force feed grass fed beef. I just think its lazy ranchers being able to maximize their profits while not feeding their animals.
I've heard a lot of people who don't want to give in from the organics to the grass fed so on and refer to it as marketing and grass fed, the results and sciences are there really and its almost sad for people not only to see the mental health, skin health, but effects on your body that are more than prevalent. Fact is, I hate the grass fed beef when i started eating, it takes a while for our palette to get used to this type of diet bc I am so used to loads of sugar and salt, but once you do, you are enjoying something without any pesticides, etc. If you look at colonies in new gineau and some others that still practice hunter and gatherer food methods so don't eat anything processed what so ever, not only are they in exquisite distinctive health, they also don't have any acne, and other troubls that we do. There death rate doesn't have access to some of the modern medicine which is good, but the food we eat in the name of coroporate efficiency has become pure garbage. I know people who don't work out or never been in a gym, eat loads of organic grass fed beef/salmon and fruits/vegetables until they are full(as in they don't have to diet or limit themselves) and are in prime shape. Fact is, take the challenge for 30 days, nothing processed, everything organic, eat meats if you like, but the right ones and you WILL feel a difference. In fact I've never come across anyone who didn't feel a difference, some people didn't stick with it bc they were just too used to the other diet, but when you see the differences in how you feel, energy, look, then its hard to go back to all the literal crap they have in most of our food. that said, its your body, if you like to load yourself up with things thtll lead to diseases among other issues, no ones forcing you to do otherwise.
haha... that was my first thought, too. but i see where they're going and do find it preferable. and do think it is a great commercial.
my wife tries to tell me the same thing, but it just seems like a huge placebo effect. She tried to tell me some bs that grass fed beef has more complete proteins than regular beef. makes no sense at all. I personally eat more chicken because i like the taste better, but when i eat steak, i dont want it to taste off.
YMMV, but it doesn't taste "off" to me. It's just gamier, sort of like how wild boar and pastured pork has more flavor than what you typically find in the supermarket. Feedlot cows fed on corn and injected with hormones typically retain more water and their meat is blander. As for the health benefits, because of the cow's diets, grass fed beef contains considerably more omega-3s than meat from grain-fed cows.
Just posting here to say I love Chipotle. I'm there 3-4 times a week. One of my friends up in Canada's really jealous about it. They don't have Chipotle there. It's probably a good franchising opportunity.
yea, shes your wife, shes definitely not trying to sell you something. The facts are literally almost everyone eventually not only feels different but both see the healtht differences as well. The food doesn't taste off, you have to realize your palate has been cultured to adapt to a taste of salt and sugar, if you hadn't grown up in a society filled with that sort of deal than your taste would not get used to it. After people have this diet for a while, they can't go back to the heavy salt and sugar, they get their sugar from fruits. This is great for you to adjust to because the other traditional diet leads to obesity, heart attacks, chemicals that effect your focus, enrergy. I mean i am sure all the big companies, from cerial to dairy companies would love it to say its just a placebo thing because it keeps them making money so long as you think this is the 'right' way to eat, but theirs is entirely artificial. If you saw the things that you were putting in your body by eating regular meat, dairy, etc the toxins so on and the more awareness you have, the more disgusted you will be by it . But its not easy to make a change from something you are so used to . That said, those who can tought it out often never regret it, but its upto you how you fuel and treat yourself. I don't have a problem or think others should do anything, its just a fact with science backing it up that tif you do want to take the initiative to be healthy, than this is the way to go. I used to want to take healthy intitiatives, but even then I was mislead by the meat, diariy and marketing of it all until i did more reading on it. changed my outlook entirely
i understand the leaness factor with corn vs grass, but I think with the amount of red meat i eat, the effects are negligible. Also, I am by no means going after your way of thinking. A lot of my angst is derived from a wife telling me how to eat.
