We're not too good a home team, and injuries have tons to do with that, but there is no doubting it, we're not the same at home. This team rarely has fire, but when we do, we really light it up. We have a majority of the season at home from this point on, and our opponents get ever so tougher; we had an easy January, but it was plagued by injuries. Another thing: Did anyone else hear the TNT announcers talking about T-Mac's problems? Apparently the guy has family issues (the health of a family member), his baby which he has to raise, and his back is still troubling him to the point he needs massages, therapy, and consultation. The guy is under a lot of stress right now. I don't have a link, but that's just what the announcers were saying. It's really affecting his play on the court, he even said in an interview they showed that sometimes he arrives at the arena and wishes he didn't. He just doesn't have the will to play right now. That's not good news. This is going to be a real tough stretch of the season, to finish it out well, but i'm sure we can do it. GO ROCKETS! No matter how we finish this season, I hope we can look forward to a great season next season...
This is relatively good news. I was worrying there's something much worse going on, considering that Tmac lost a close one every year since he entered NBA.
If that is the case, then why isnt the Rockets' management smart enough to sit him out for the rest of the season so he can recover all his personal and physichal issues. The odds are in favor of us not making the playoffs anyways. Might as well start preparing for next year.
You know, I'm beginning to suspect that our "strength and conditioning" coaches could be why our home record is so dismal. Maybe those weight room Nazis are working our players too hard. By tipoff time, the players are too worn out. Maybe the team does better on the road because they don't spend as much time in the weight room. Of course, I'm just guessing here.
