What i've been reading about Kidd being a free agent after 2003...maybe we should make a run at him. There are many pros to this and i'll let all of y'all deal w/ the cons. 1.extend francis' contract 2.draft a quality big men this summer next summer: option 1: sign jason kidd. we would be capped strapped but a lineup like ours would be pretty nice: C-?? (2003 i don't know if cato will wake up in time) PF-2002 draft pick SF-eddie griffin SG-francis PG-kidd 6th-mobley francis is tip toeing on that line. he's a good PG right now but y'all see and i see that he coudl be a GREAT SG if he was made one. sure he wants to run the show, but he could literally be better than iverson if he just lay off wanting to be a PG and be a SG full time option 2: sign and trade for kidd. this would really strap our cap room trade: KT mobley, and future draft pick for kidd salary wise-might not work. but just think hypothetically here. flame on guys. trade
so many problems with this thread. i particularly like the "option 1. sign jason kidd" yeah, just like going out to buy a carton of milk. just sign jason kidd. go head, just sign him. what is taking the rockets management so long. go and get a piece of paper and a pen and lets get kidd in houston. no big deal. i mean it would hurt us cap wise, but hell it might be worth it. he might be worth the money. so, we might as well give a try and sign jason kidd. cant hurt too much overall, so i think its worth a shot. sign jason kidd.
haha i DID say that y'all will flame me for that. but i was just sick of hearing odom this and odom that. just thought i would throw this out to mix things up. and i, too, am a nuggets fan. that makes 2 of us in the whole country!
Maybe The Real Shady is Nuggets4? LOL! Personally, I think Kidd won't make it to the East finals this year, and then when he's an FA, will either convince FA's to play with him, or will play wherever Duncan or Payton plays.
