    It's now pretty clear nobody gives a crap about us.

    1. David Stern doesn't care for us. We are the innocent bystander in this case, factoring into absolutely nothing in all of this, yet we are likely going to pay the stiffest penalties(more players given up) because of this.

    2. Other owners don't care about us. Not even a hint of remorse or apology or, really, any mentioning of how they screwed us over so royally.

    3. The media don't care about us. This was always about a 2-way trade between LA and NO and CP3 and Gasol. Do they care about KMart or Scola? Nope.

    4. The players don't care about us. You've seen Gasol's tweets.

    5. The fans don't care about us. They like the story. They want to either see CP3 in LA or hope he never make it there. They want to hate on David Stern. But they don't care whether or not this makes Houston better or worse. That's irrelevant.

    Quite frankly, we just don't matter to anyone living outside Houston.

    Not complaining. Just want to state the truth of the matter clearly.

    Everyone knows teams like Sacramento or Minnesota don't matter. I just want to make it clear that we are closer to them than the big boys. Even if we are, what, the 3rd or 4th largest city in the US.

    They've got what we wanted. Going youth with good players and the veteran that we want to retire a Rocket.
    They won't win anything but they will be fun to watch.
    I think most of us know the truth but we will fight it till the end with our MIT nerd guy by our side.

    Its not personal man, media doesn't care about much but maybe 6-8 teams. The rest of us just try to survive and hope we get lucky and score a couple a good pieces to build around. We just don't have the luxury to screw up when we get the pieces (ex: SA: Pass, Cle: Fail). And as far as this particular trade is concerned, if you were living anywhere else but Houston, would you be sayin 'wow Houston is about to get Pau!' or 'God damnit Houston, you're about to help LA get CP3!!!' You gotta admit, we're the 3rd wheel here, why would anyone outside of Houston support this trade exactly?

    In all seriousness, we're going to be fine. I don't care if Gasol doesn't really want to be here. He'll be fine once he gets here. We are trying to be competitive again, with or with Adolf Stern.

    ****I do not like that we probably will give up K-mart though. :(

    Morey is the one seeking this trade. He wants to dump Scola and Martin's salaries as the means to get Gasol and sign Nene. Giving away more players is to create more cap space for Nene.

    You're right. Time for the Rockets to fold up and bring an NHL team to town to take over the Toyota Center. Or give it to the Aeros.
