Given the Pacers outburst yesterday and the Rockets general defensive woes. I thought this was interesting, especially since it occurred 20 years today.

The Suns didn't have any threes? WTF?

Must have been a lay-up drill.

    Ah, the old midrange days....

Nice defense by TR Dunn in that game, no wonder our team is struggling, he is our Defensive coach !!

    ;)

I know I did a double take about the 3pt's too. Sadly I have not been able to find any video of this game.

There are youtube videos of this denver team against the bulls though.

    1990?

More like the ole Paul Westhead days. He actually tried to run the Loyola Marymount track meet in the NBA. That was his first year after Gathers and Kimble. Looks like that was his 6th game trying it. haha Obviously, that offense of featuring cherry pickers doesn't work in the NBA.

no threes, probably because it was a layup drill.

There is a good ESPN 30 for 30 called the Guru of Go about Paul Westhead's offense. Its mostly about the Loyola Marymount team that made a very good run in the NCAA tournament after their best player died of a heart condition.
