With all of the excitement of the runup to the playoffs I'm thinking of coming out to see the Rox in Houston for their last games of the season. I've never been to a game at the Toyota Center so am wondering about a few things. How much are tickets adjacent to the Rowdies section, what section is the Rowdies section and are the games sold out? Looking at the schedule the Rox play at home on the 14th against the Hornets and the 16th against the Suns. Since the 14th is a Saturday that would work much better for my schedule but the last home game might be a more lively crowd. Any recommendations on which game would be better to attend?
Hornets - they will be playing for more. Still in the playoff hunt plus no team wants to lose the last game of the season if they aren't going to the playoffs. But I say skip both these and go directly to a playoff game if possible.
I would like to but don't have the cash for playoff tickets. The only reason this is possible is that I've got a bunch of frequent flyer miles I can cash in.
My son just moved to New York City and my neighbor had ankle surgery. So I am always looking for someone to go to the games with me. Pick either one. Seat is sec 116, row 17 seat 3 Buy me a drink and cheer for the Rockets and we are even. Richirich
Thanks. After making a photoshop the pain post for Rafer my anger is cooling. I'm going to decide by Tuesday and I will post a note here if I end up going.
I've been inspired by the pics from Dave2000 of the last game so I'm going to do it. I haven't seen the Rox in Houston since the early 90's so it will be a nice change to finally be rooting for them in a stadium where I'm not going to get hostile stares for coming out in Rox red. I'll send you an email later today to work out the details. As for buying you a beer during the game, certainly. I will be glad to buy you a beer before, during and after the game.
