That's much more impressive than the guy who beat Super Mario I.

Now I'll just wait for this guy to beat Super Mario 64 in 10 minutes.

 

VERY impressive. More so that he manages to not even get hit once, there are several close calls when he's ****ing around collecting one-ups on the cannonballs and Rocky Wrenches.

He made 8-1 his b****.

 

Good Gosh! That was amazing. Truely amazing. It makes you think its not real how awesome that guy played.

The only "mistake" I saw made was that he didn't get three star cards for extra lives but that's just nitpicking.

Unbelievable.

I'm tempted to call bull**** on how he beat Bowser. I thought you had to make him fall through the floor and fireballs had no effect, but it's been so long I can't remember...

 

Man this video has been passed around quick. I saw this 2 days ago, 2 friends AIMed it to me yesterday and now this thread, i was going to post it, but thought it had been already posted. Whoever did this is SICK. The 1ups at the canon stage was ludacirs. Guy didnt die once, and killed all of the bosses with ease. Now, if only he was on that "Wizard" movie....

I tried to do some of that crap he did today. I couldn't even come close. That is truly ****in amazing.

 

I saw that before, that is nuts, knowing where all the cannons are and hoping on them. Its nuts

I saw that a few days ago. Really impressive work, especially with the cannonball jumping. Before I saw this, I had no idea you could use a whistle to warp directly to 8 in the level select screen. Kinda seems like a mistake in game design.

 

Remember he DID skip a whole bunch of levels! So he didn't really beat the complete game in 11 minutes. He just beat two levels (stages).

I also don't think this is real... could be computer generated couldn't it? How do you do it so impeccably? Also, it seems to me like Mario's hang time is a little longer than what I remembered it could be.

But hell, if it's real? Wow... it could have been shorter too, he dicked around for like 5 seconds on 1-3.

Speaking of the Wizard movie...

I never understood how, at the end when they unveiled the "NEW GAME" which was Super Mario Bros. 3, everybody all-of-a-sudden knew what the magic flute did.

Wasn't it a new game? How would they possibly know that.

Honestly... did anybody know about the flute before the Wizard movie??? That's not something you can find by accident.

 

If that was real, that was some crazy ****.

But I am going to call bull**** on a few things. This guy is obviously playing on the Famicom version of Super Mario Bros 3, so things might be different.


I remember fireballs were green when you fought that one guy in the castle.

Also, I think that person was using a controller that had a turbo feature cause I saw two fireballs come out right after the next.

And finally, I don't understand how he got from World One to World Eight like that.

I remember when I played it, and I blew both whistles, the highest level I could get to was World Seven.

When you blow the whistle in World One, it takes you to the first line. World's Two, Three and Four.
When you blow the whistle again on that first line, the Tornado takes you to the second line, World Five, Six, and Seven, not the third line to World Eight.


But it's still pretty awesome.
