http://games.yahoo.com/ This game is addicting... You have different types of sharks and piranhas swimming at you with words/letters written on their sides and you have to type the words/letters on their sides before they reach you and kill you. You keep ascending to more levels and they continue to get more difficult. You get a free life for each 300,000 pts you accumulate. You build points by killing the sharks/piranhas as fast as you can and being as accurate as you can. You are a scuba diver and they drop you in the water from the surface level and you have to descend 100 feet into the water while killing the sharks/piranhas along the way to complete each level. I just got to Level 20 (I was in the Bermuda Triangle) with 12 extra lives and could not get out of the level. I was so pissed. If you try it, start out with the "Norma" (30wpm) and see if you can get past level 20. Post how far you got here...
Damn that game is addicting! I got through Level 22 (It was MUCH harder starting at level 20). 1,715,915 points w/ 95% accuracy and 90 WPM.
Damnit...got to level 15 on the hard difficulty level (50 wpm setting). Very addicting, but very very frustrating when they start throwing all those white piranha that require you to hit the shift key. Fun, though.
Things started to fall apart on level 19 for me. Damn, I don't see how anyone could get much further than level 20, where I died. 83 WPM, 93% accuracy, 1683144 was my score.
I agree. Very fun and a great way to keeping the typing skills going. However, y'all are typing machines, I only get to about 50-55 WPM.
I dunno what level I was on, but I know was typing at 97 wpm. It's a fun game but argh frustrating. The piranhas piss me off the most more then anything. Them and the green sharks that change letters as they come at you. Tigersharks 3 words to zap them. Argh!
