think back to last year...

    ok, please answer honestly.

    think back to last year. if i would have told you then that we will have the record we do now, would you have been happy?


    also, are you happy with our season right now?

    If you would have told me that Steve Francis would be healthy and we drafted a good role player then yes.

    If you wouldve told me we would have the #1 pick who has made teams change their defensive strategies just to account for him, then no.

    I am pretty happy considering the following:

    Yao obviously came in more NBA ready than anyone anticipated

    Yao does need the ball more, but he is being given some freedom to be creative on offense (considering he seems to get easily fatigued these days, I don't feel too bad about him not getting the ball as often as he should).

    The foundation is there with Yao, Francis, Mobley, Griffin. They are all still young, so I look forward to growth.

    I am unhappy about the following:

    Rice is never ever healthy.

    Taylor hasn't been getting PT. Let him loose, see what he can do. Work him back in the fold.

    Yao has to get the ball more, more touches (when not tired).
