I just graduated last May and am at my first full time job, found out they are sending me to St. Louis for a week in about a month.

Anyone know anything cool to do there besides take a drunken piss on Eckstein's front porch?

    That'll do, donkey. That'll do.

Actually, St. Louis is known for their blues/jazz clubs.

Lots of expensive bars by the river. Lots of bars south of Bush stadium and in the Central West End and the Loop. Lots of Italian Restaurants around Dogtown. In college I used to spend many drunken nights in Blueberry Hill on Delmar on The Loop but that is kind of the far West end of most the bar hopping. I used to work at Brandt's across the street and they had a very nice all-you-can-eat buffet on Sunday mornings. The local food specialty is 'toasted ravioli' and other Italian stuff.

Lots of crack ho's, prostitutes, and cheap strip clubs in East St. Louis. If you really want to scrape the bottom of the barrel, try Brooklyn, Illinois. It doesn't get much more ghetto than that.

Not a whole lot else. The art museum in Forest Park is well stocked if you go for that sort of thing. Some of the giant old Victorian houses around Forest Park are cool and unlike anything you'd ever see in Houston. Most of the most interesting history is tied up around the 1904 World's Fair, which took place in Forest Park, after which the city essentially died. The Bowling Hall of Fame is next to Bush Stadium if you are really bored. We used to get really drunk and pee on the arch, but you have to be careful that the park rangers aren't around. There is also riverboat gambling. We used to go to the Casino Queen.

No. Remain in your hotel room and await further instructions. HQ out.

I heard that the best thing St. Louis people like to do is leave the city permanently.
