I'm visiting a friend a friend in NYC from tomorrow til Sunday but he's at work tomorrow and Friday so I'm looking for things to do around the city. I would use the search function but it seems to have disappeared from my menu. I'm really up for anything. I've been there before when I was young so I don't need to do anything really touristy. Any suggestions?
could visit the met, they ask for a donation so give them 5 bucks. that should occupy you for a few hours.
if you want to do things for free i would just walk around china town little italy central park time square financial district all free except you can try whatever food that catches your eye along the way.
with the economy sucking balls, street/subway performers are making significantly less than they were previously. Try the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Natural Science Museum, the Guggenhiem, the Museum of Modern Art. It is going to be cold so central park is out. Visit the neighborhoods if you can deal with the cold. Check out soho/nolita, china town, the east and west villages, tribeca, and time square(if you've never been to ny before). Make sure you eat a ton of food. There are a ton of cheap eats in the city and if you can do a little more upscale the food options are endless. Have fun, its a great city with a ton to see and do.
Oh really? Hmm. Guess I'll just have to settle for some Yes Network. Never seen the Yankees station before.
Kramer tour was the most fun tourist thing I have ever done in New York, Flight of the Conchords should be fun too ...if you are interested http://www.kennykramer.com/
Is there really a Flight of the Conchords tour? This show has been on for less then two years and I read they are ending it for good after this season.
