yep...all those teams ahead of us still have the advantage, but they are hardly shoe-ins...The teams are packed in there pretty tight now. It would seem at least one of them would fall into a slump before the season is done. At least I hope so... ------------------ "Segregation is an absolutely horrid practice - except when it comes to numbers and letters. I just don't think they should be mixed." - P. Mesku on his dislike of algebra
Phoenix is the team most likely to slump. With Cliff and Kidd shopped around before the trade deadline, you gotta wonder if these guys will give their all now. Dallas got MUCH better by getting Howard. ------------------ When we tire of well-worn ways, we seek for new. This restless craving in the souls of men spurs them to climb, and to seek the mountain view. -- Ella Wheeler Wilcox
Wow, I didn't realize that the 6th and 7th playoff spots were also so vulnerable right now! Wouldn't it be amazing if the Rockets managed to get the 6th seed of the playoffs? Remember the last time we had the 6th seed and no one expected us to make much noise? I sure as hell do! ------------------ "Happiness is a journey, not a destination. Work like you don't need money, love like you've never been hurt, and dance like no one's watching."
And to think just a couple weeks ago, we lost to the clips, and were at one of our lowest points of the season. We are now in striking distance for the 6th, 7th, and 8th spot. We are 4 games behind Dallas for #6, 3.5 behind Phoenix for #7, and 3 behind Minnesota for #8. It will still be tough to get into the playoffs because all three of these teams are very good teams, but now it looks like we have a better chance. ------------------ Never Underestimate the Heart of a Champion
