I know it may be a little late for a thread like this but I figured I’d start it. Pretty much I wanna know what 2004 fad you hope and pray doesn’t hold over into 2005.

Me personally, I hope Paris Hilton disappears into the deepest darkest hole from which not even Nichole Riche could suck her out of.

Both of these media hogs make me sick. I’m sick of seeing then or hearing about them. She not hot! She has a body only Micheal Jackson could love and don’t get me started on Nichole, pig face, Riche.

My biggest issue is the fact that they have no talent and are, IMHO, the worse this country has to offer.

(Reason for my rant is I just saw a commercial for another freaking season of the Simple Life last nite)

I hope they fade and fade quickly.

Anyone else, what other fad of 2004 do you want gone?

No, those are good for a good laugh. Let give them a couple of months then boot them off.

I know it's been around since before 2004--but this nation will be a far better place one half-assed reality TV shows are flushed like a rotten turd

Watching the Rockets game the other day on ESPN and the halftime show come on. It got me thinking.....since when does yelling something like "K.G. IS MY GUY" get you on TV?

At one point all four of the dopes on the panel were just yelling dumb **** at one another.

I'd like to see that type of crap gone in 2005. :)

Do idiots like Sean Salisbury count? If so, I pick them.

This confrontational, "I'm right, the rest of you are stupid morons" crap has already done its best to ruin my love for politics and it's starting to make sports unwatchable.

I'm a Viking fan and I hate Sean Salisbury.

He is trying to be like Bill Walton w/out the wit and insight.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty funny. For a second episode, not bad at all.

I am too. I'm shocked that you like the show. :) Just kidding. I didn't like it at first, but the episode last night was pretty damn funny. The agent's line about picking up the two girls had me in stitches.

Hey, is that game any good? I've been thinking about getting it.

As for things in pop culture I'd like to see gone, I've pretty much given up hope of anything disappearing since there are still abominations from the late 90s floating around. It's easier to just turn off the television and (God forbid!) read a book or something.
