lol I love hearing that guy calling Rockets games. Isn't he the same guy who said "T-Mac just sucked the gravity right out of the building"? or something like that?

Somewhat cheesy but I liked it. Harlan has a tendency to 'overstate' things a bit or get too excited too quickly. His 'timing' isn't all that great...

Thank God for that because Doug Collins is as boring as it gets.

    Captain Obvious never stops talking.

marv albert is kinda losing it...though i still remember "mcgrady for the win.......YES!"

but harlan does have some awesome lines at the right time. like "mcgrady just sucked the gravity right out of the building."

I've heard him use that line before. I think he's even used the "he sucked the gravity right out of the building line" more than once. Another one he says a little often is "up high, and down hard." .

There's a you tube video for that some where. That was when the Rockets played the pistons. T-Mac had a nasty dunk.

I remember hearing him for the first time thinking... "when did Marv come back to tnt?"

He makes the NBA 2k series very authentic with his commentary... :)

Wow, I didn't think there were Rockets fans out there who didn't know EXACTLY where they were when that happened.....but I guess you're one. ;)

FYI, it was when T-Mac dunked on Bradley, first round, Game 2, 2004-2005 playoffs against Dallas.......

Are you serious? He's probably the most knowledgeable broadcaster around and he's actually aware of what's going on with every team that he calls games for. That's a lot more than you can say about most national NBA media guys.

I'd take Doug Collins over Hubie Brown any day.... at least Doug has a relaxing voice...

    Hubie
"This guy is 6'8 with LONG ARMS and he's got the inside moves to go with the outside shot. NOW, he needs to pass it in before taking a quick shot like that. You're talking about a guy who is a star, came straight in out of high school and is an impact player...." AND BLAHABLAHABLAH... STFU HUBIE
